Samantha Hanna
Assistant Director & Program Manager
Samantha Hanna is the Assistant Director and Program Manager for St. George Young Theatre. Since the founding of this program in August 2022, the ability to be even a small part was a dream come true for her. Theatre (and the performing arts in general) are what gave her the confidence to come out of her shell growing up. This same confidence is what she is passionate about bringing to the youth in our community, as well as a respect and love for the performing arts. Samantha has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Charleston Southern University, which she has found to be advantageous in working with the youth in our community. Samantha has been a part of several shows outside of this program as an actress including The Sound of Music, Once Upon a Mattress, and West Side Story. She also grew up doing choir and show choir. Samantha has been in leadership positions with St. George Young Theatre from the very beginning, having the ability to help build the program from the ground up. As the program was starting, she even played a few roles on the stage alongside our youth cast and crew. St. George Young Theatre has become one of Samantha’s favorite things in the world, and she is so excited to see the future of this program and the positive impacts it will continue to make on our community.
