St. George Young Theatre is proud to present our Spring 2025 Production of Anne of Green Gables originally written by L. M. Montgomery and adapted for the stage by Joseph Robinette. In this faithful adaptation directed by Nicole Campbell, we follow the spirited and imaginative Anne Shirley through her childhood and teenaged years, as well as all of the characters you know and love set in the beautiful backdrop of Avonlea.

This story spans many years, which allowed us a unique casting opportunity. Act 1 takes place in Anne's childhood, while Act 2 takes place in Anne's teenage years. Anne and her friends have been double cast accordingly; with our Act 1 characters portrayed by younger actors and Act 2 characters portrayed by older actors. The adults in Anne's life are the same actor throughout both acts.
